I just came across news regarding the release of pes7 on the ps3 ,wii and 360 . finally something to cheer for the countless pes fans who have a ps3 but cannot play football on it. but its coming out in december which is too far off.  |

well just imagine what the blu ray can mean for a game like pro evo .i have always been unhappy about the way they have handled their audio and graphics to a certain extent .i hope this jump to the ps3 is a pathbreaking one because just porting the current versions to the ps3 would be a big dissapointment. i can't wait for it come out . anyways what do you guys think konami will do to fill up a bluray disk.  |

i dont think they need blu ray to improve the graphics or audio on PES....just look at the madden games....looke at FIFA 07....theyre all out on dvds....its just that konami needs to pay more attention to those aspects
to answer ur question, konami wont come anywhere close to even filling half a blu ray disk

Bluray is not needed to make a game better. What takes up space on a disc are sound files.
Btw ea themselves said they ran out of space on the 360 ver of fifa07

its in not coming on any next gen console except 360
it might come on the ps2
Microsoft has the rights for the game for for 07/08

For EA's part, it appears the publisher is standing by Microsoft's statement. An EA rep told GameSpot bluntly that "FIFA 07 will not be coming to PS3 and Wii. It is available on all current gen platforms and Xbox 360 only." However, that still doesn't exclude the possibility of a FIFA title appearing on PS3 or Wii under another name next year.

fifa 08 or pes7 are not exclusive's only 07 and pes6 were cause ms payed them a bomb.
fifa 07 was the exclusive title for the 360,and it was basically a nice move by ea and not microsoft.why?let me explain.
firstly EA and konami got payed for it,for keeping it next gen exclusive.
soccer games are very popular in the EU and not the US,so around 80% of the sales come from the pal territories.
pal ps3 starts it launch on 23rd march and the ps3 user base will be small
by september fifa 08 will be out.
why work on a game which will only last for 3-4 months that too when someone is paying you.
ea themselves realised that the game was half assed with missing clubs ,teams etc
in konami's case the so called 360 version was a port of the ps2 version again with missing features.
so in the end MS lost money and the developers made some
