i dont think they need blu ray to improve the graphics or audio on PES....just look at the madden games....looke at FIFA 07....theyre all out on dvds....its just that konami needs to pay more attention to those aspects to answer ur question, konami wont come anywhere close to even filling half a blu ray disk peace Well that's the thing .i have never really liked the fifa graphics and i think pro evo always had the better player models and animations. so i am expecting a lot this time. i hope konami surprises everyone by making a monster of a game.

i'm just too excited about this game so had to write something. everytime we hear how konami seems to improve the already perfect football game with every subsequent release. but i wonder what will be the new additions to this one . i for one am certainly hoping for a more improved dribbling system and also much much much better commentary.what do you guys think ?some crazy ideas will be encouraged.

i may get mauled for this but i can do with great "next gen" graphics in this one too....i just want them to reinvent, improve, or atleast freshen up the master league....thats where i spend around 80% of my time in a PES game......i'm currently in my 26th season in master league on the 360

strong rumors PES7 will have alll the licenses ;D ;D fifa fanboys no excuses left ,admit it that you find PES tough to play BTW- the ps3 is supposed to be superior in terms of modes.
According to retail store Game, the next Pro Evo (pro evolution soccer 7) has finally cancelled out Fifa's trump card - Licences.
The store manager showed me the documnet which they recieve to push pre orders, showing information on the biggest games upcoming in 2007.
Among reading through i come to Pro Evo and the following was on there,
All international teams fully licence, F.A premier League licence, German League licence and international cup competitions licenced.
it also stated the its was to be released on Wii, PSP, DS, 360, ps2, PC and PS3. strangely the PS3 version was listed as Pro Evolution Soccer 7 '1st team edition' and had alot more features and modes listed than any other version.
Quick note, there was no Metal gear solid 4 scheduled, HALO 3 was down for September 26th, Heavenly sword was down for Sep 26th.

Hevanly sword Vs Halo ... that will be the showdown of the century... but ya if they do get the licenses.. it will be a huge boost for them .... but i dunno if EA will let that happen cause They have a contract with Fifa na UEFA

theyve got FIFPro licenses which means they now have licenses for all players and all players will have real names but we'll have to wait and see about the teams....it not an issue to me tho

Not too long after Winning Eleven 2007 hit the shelves, German gaming website Gamefront.de already reports that WE 2008 will be revealed soon. The series is known to make improvements very slowly, making minor changes every installment (and sometimes backtracking). Some fans often complain, but it's undeniable that Konami's football franchise delivers a great experience. GameWave magazine lobbed a few details on their cover, and here's the list: * Game will be released in multiple platforms (even on the PS3) * Improved defense * More realistic and changed dribbling animations * 1 on 1 tackles and offside traps will have better results (controversial calls) * Better online service, no lag * Full HD support with 18GB storage Just like the rumors on WE: Pro Evolution Soccer 6, this latest instalment is said to be at its best on the PS3, according to PlayStation Universe. Retailer Game claims that Konami licensed the entire Premiere League and the German League for its iteration on Sony's console. While still a rumor, it could be confirmed on June 23 when more info is out. PSU's educated guess says Pro Evolution Soccer 7 (European title) is likely to be released in October, while North America will get it (as Winning Eleven 2008) early 2008. ps3.qj.net/Konami-strikes-hard-Winning-Eleven-2008-coming-soon/pg/49/aid/92935
