I like Half-Life 2 in the environment department... it had enough variety to keep you from getting bored. FarCry's jungle environments were really good but I wish they had cut down a bit on the indoor sections.
Anyway, Bioshock is definitely a must get. However I think I'll be getting the PC version...

btw looks better than gears on anything else too. how can that be Both use the same unreal engine and who would know how to make better use of it than the developers themselves !

different developers modify the base engine according to their requirements. just wait till square show something with the unreal engine.

BioShock Limited Edition Confirmed by 2K Last week, some BioShock fans had started an online petition in which they asked 2K to release a collector’s edition of the game. A 2K rep then stated that if the petition got 5,000 signatures, the video games publisher would certainly make a limited edition available. The petition got a huge response from the BioShock fans, around 18,000 of them who signed it. True to their word, 2K has now decided that they will come out with a limited edition of their first person shooter. This edition will only be available for the Xbox 360 and the PC platforms but 2K has not yet revealed the contents that would be inside the limited edition of BioShock. However, the publisher has put up a poll on the official BioShock website, Cult of Rapture. The poll asks gamers to choose from a number of optional things, with the winning choice being included in the collector’s edition package. The poll, like the online petition has received a huge response and the bonus goodies could include OST, art books, a special making of” DVD, posters, superior packaging and an art print with the team’s signatures on it. 2K has not mentioned the release date of the BioShock limited edition, but it could well release soon. www.gameguru.in/pc/2007/02/bioshock-limited-edition-confirmed-by-2k/
