The game trailers looks amazing, I think I've lost on quite a few outstanding games due to the lack of a PS2 !

yeah...you pc loving mortal ...... unfortunately it was not by choice dude, by the time I cud afford to buy a console for myself, ps2 was outdated so instead, i upgraded my pc with a 6600 nividia card for the same cost. Now its too late to get a ps2, unless someone sells it to me for like a 4000-5000 bucks along with some good games ! Hope MS somehow pulls this game too on x360....;D !

@gta ..i got my ps2 in DEC 2005 .....and played a total of 50 games....I had a huge spread to choose from.... although many of them were outdated but it was an experience i did not want to deny myself and pity those who did. It was worth every penny n second i spent on it... u wuld have enjoyed more of your GTAs too I dont know how many of u would agree but playstation had this huge set of platformers too..To many of you it might look/sound kiddish but IMO theres no better a retreat than playing a nice refereshing platformer.. i just loved Ratchet series.. such a game i would have loved to play after my gruelling gaming sessions of Oblivion... just hoping if they start such series on 360

@gta ..i got my ps2 in DEC 2005 .....and played a total of 50 games....I had a huge spread to choose from.... It was some 2 months b4 dec 2005 that I decided against getting a PS2 becoz of x360 worldwide release....but let me check if I can get a modded PS2 for around 6700 in blore, I'll definetely buy it, since the games for it are available at throwaway prices - as less as Rs 40....would love to play some of PS2's classics like MGS, DMC, SH, GT and of course - God of War and the upcoming Manhunt 2 ! BTW, for me GTA series always look better on PC, especially becoz of the numerous mods available, u can keep playing it again n again !

consoles.gwn.com/news/story.php/id/11648/God_of_War_3_Confirmed_With_Vibration.htmlGod of War 3 Confirmed, With Vibration! God of War III to hit the PS3 with 1080p, SIXAXIS and vibration support. Wait... vibration? Yes, vibration. While details are still unfolding at the event, so far Cory Barlog of developer Ready At Dawn has revealed that the next God of War game will be on the PS3. He also said that it will feature 1080p high definition graphics, and will also feature SIXAXIS and vibration support. Does this mean Sony are bringing back the vibration to the PS3 controller? It certainly seems like all signs point to yes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ God of War 2.5 Confirmed for PSP This news just came in from the God of War II (PS2) launch event which Sony just held. First official details and confirmation of a PSP God of War game have been announced! Cory Barlog and developer Ready at Dawn announced that the PSP God of War game would be "it's own story that connects to the overall story. God of War, God of War 2, and then if all the stars align God of War 3 will be the telling of a trilogy. This PSP story will be a further fleshing out." The goal is for the PSP version to be just as big as the PS2 games, despite being on the handheld system. "It is epic. It is big. There are hooks in the PSP story that I actually wrote from one of my first stories for God of War 2, so there are a lot of elements - we're going to keep connecting all this stuff. To me, it's a persistent world... I want the PSP version to not feel like the PSP version... it's just as big. It's just as epic. It's God of War." And so it seems the PSP game will be a God of War 2.5 of sorts - not a continuation of the PS2 storyline, but a "fleshing out", as the developer calls it, of the PS2 storyline. The developer also mentioned possible connectivity with PSP/PS2/PS3: "As far as the connectivity and stuff, it sounds awesome, but really kind of just found out about Home ourselves... Home was in development, but nobody really on our development team was knowledgeable about it, so there wasn't much we could do about it." Barlog also detailed some of the gameplay, reassuring us that: "We're not reusing any levels. We're not doing any of that stuff. It's all original content. And the game will ship with a second analog nub - totally kidding! Not true at all!" Haha, nice one Cory. You almost had us there (not). Stay tuned for further God of War PSP details! Update: The conference has now finished. No trailers or screens were shown for the new God of War PSP and PS3 games, but the details they did unveil were very exciting nonetheless. Clarification: God of War for PSP is yet to be named, and will likely not be called God of War 2.5, but that is what we will be calling it until a more commonly used, or more official name is announced, since it expands on the storyline from God of War II.
