Please bring back the exotic cars and landscaped tracks from the old NFS games! I mean I did like the tuner stuff and the open city stuff in NFSU/2, MW and Carbon but somehow I wish they brought back the tracks from NFS3/4, Porsche and Hot Pursuit 2 in high definition. That would be so cool! yup yup thats exactly what i mean.....this whole street racing thing is getting old....i wan the big tracks set on europen hillsides and tropical islands peace

^^ The FMVs were lame but good in a "so bad it's good" kind of a way. But yeah it was a departure from the NFS games of the past.
But I do have a thing for the girl in Carbon (Emmanuelle Vaugier)...

Just some time ago, Electronic Arts (EA) had released a teaser trailer of their new Need for Speed game. Today they have officially unveiled the game, which has been christened as Need for Speed ProStreet. They have also put up a trailer of the game. Check it out: NFS ProStreet promises to be truly next-gen as it will have impressively detailed photo-realistic graphics. The game will push the Autosculpt technology to the limit as it will allow gamers to directly impact their car’s performance as well as personalize its appearance. The best part of Need for Speed ProStreet will be the online mode, which will let gamers compete in a street racing showdown. Larry LaPierre, Executive Producer states, “Need for Speed ProStreet accelerates street racing culture by providing the ultimate stage for the hunt of street racing supremacy. This is a game about building the ultimate performance-tuned battle machine, taking it to multi-disciplinary showdowns all over the world and pitting your skills and reputation against the finest street racers.” NFS ProStreet is being developed by EA Black Box in Vancouver, Canada and will release in Fall 2007. The game will come on the PS2, PS3, PSP, Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox 360, PC and the mobile platforms. So first, it was Underground, then came Most Wanted, then the forgettable Carbon and now we have ProStreet I am sure your mouth was watering when you saw the video, but alas you will have to wait for some months! video www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wyfM2-ie-g
