animation/character modelling is still the best and easiest way to get into the field imo gone are the days when a single programmer could design and build an entire engine and game, its more of a teamwork and a very tough one indeed, even if u are a outstanding programmer itll still take you years before you go up the ranks and do your own game. even as an animator u might start with doingg polish up jobs ,but you can always create your imagination, also animaton/CM opens up a lot more fields thn gaming alone. another option is beta testing, lets not even go there every gamer ho plays games feels he can beta test a product.

Even though Crackdown is just hot off the drawing board, developer RealTime Worlds is already working out some ideas for the game's sequel.
Senior designer Stephen Iannetta recently said to CVG that he would love to make a sequel to the open-ended 360 title and take the concept forward. Iannetta confided that while he thinks RealTime Worlds has already created a pretty convincing game world, he'd like to create a "more believable, functioning city" in the future. "I think if there's one thing we can learn from making Crackdown it's that it's the city that makes the fun."
Iannetta also mentioned giving players even more options on how to approach and complete a given mission. "I think again it comes to how you can really choose how you approach the missions, and I'd really like to turn the contrast up on that," he said.
What about you guys? What would you like to see in a Crackdown sequel (I''m waiting for the first guy to say "Halo 4 beta!")? Leave a comment below and let us know. computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=158626

^^ I would say: in the sequel, bring in some choppers and bikes and boats...! Also, its more fun to have a badass character as the lead instead of an agent (tommy vercetti anyone ?)....awesome to have a police chopper on your ass, when you are jumping across buildings...!

Then it would be another GTA. I guess playing on the right side of the law (for a change) is what separates Crackdown from GTA.

OK first complaint againt this game....the game is damn short and too easy Just 21 bosses to kill and the story is over , and i wiped out 3 of los muertos bosses in 10 minutes....actually with a rocket launcher, its damn easy ! Collecting orbs and creating mayhems is fun, but I wonder once the story ends, which mite take at the max, 2-4 hours to wipe out all the bosses, what to do next ? Races are a big pain in the ass, driving a car is horrible in this ! So I guess REPLAY value of this game sucks ! Its only fun as long as it lasts....
