Dont take it the wrong way fanboys, but dont u see that the gameplay and the city scape seem a lot similar to Ubi's own POP: TT ? I atleast felt so....the gfx are amazing, with being photorealistic and all....but the gameplay, like jumping off rooftops, planks, daggerboards etc....seem a lot too familiar and used rather.... or is this the way the game is supposed to be from the start - PoP with HD Gfx  Even most of the fight sequences in the trailer looks to be borrowed from POP ! This slowly is goin to the "wait for the review" category of games for me ! |

yea man...same here....totally reminded me also of POP...!! gameplay looked similar....and abt the gfx, POP is not bad either....two thrones has some really good requirements and awesome gfx..!! but still, i loved the POP and since this is similar, i think ill love this too....

The Assasin's creed engine, although its new, they probably got alot of the code from the Prince of Persia engine, And bear in mind, this is the same development team. The gameplay however should be quite different from PoP since, PoP was more "arcade-style" in teh sense that you had a health meter, combos, special attacks and so on, but Assasin's creed follows a very realistic tone.

the swordplay in da gameplay trailer wasn't lukin' very special.........and while da "social stealth" feature was well- presented...don't feel we'll be able 2 use it in many ways.....i'll also wait for da ign review

Assassin's Creed to be Released in NovemberUbisoft today announced the long-anticipated Assassin's Creed will be released across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the PC this November. Additionally, as is becoming the de facto standard these days, the company will also release a Limited Edition version of the game, set to retail at $69.99.
