if it is SEP 25th Ubi would have confirmed it all ur posts about UBI make it sound like yall are soulmates or summ peace i have huge soft corner for UBI can tolerate shit being thrown at them  Hope to officially work for them sometime  |

Limited Edition for CreedIGN has learned that Ubisoft will announce tomorrow the release of an all-new "limited edition" version of Assassin's Creed. Scheduled for shipment "later this year," Assassin's Creed Limited Edition will be distributed in much lower quantities than the regular SKU (hence the "limited" moniker and not a "special" one). Though the limited edition's gameplay content will be identical to that of the standard version, Assassin's Creed LE will boast a number of bonus supplemental content items. In addition to a specialized tin packaging, the game will also include a figurine of lead character Altair, Penny Arcade comics, a miniature strategy guide, and Assassin-themed short films. Behind-the-scenes videos, official trailers, developer diaries, producer interviews and other unnamed goodies are also planned. Assassin's Creed Limited Edition, release date unknown, will retail for $69.99 (US) and be available for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. I don't think this game was ever supposed to be a Show-off of Graphics. Yes, it will have stunning graphics eventually, but plenty of multiplatform games always look quite jaded around the edges, as in not bad at-all. Just not as good..
This game IMHO, has always been about the smooth animations and awesome AI with pretty good graphics.. Thats how all the Prince of Persia games were. They werent bad to look at, but with a good graphic card on ur PC and full settings, they werent as good as some of the other games that you could play. But POP games rocked and this is going to rock 4 times more than those, so don't worry KracKChap, it's going to be more than enough when the game comes out..

last year it won the best looking game at e3 award for a reason.compare the last years and this years trailer.there is def a loss in visual quality.
but the whole idea of showing the trailer in slo-mo didnt help matters.

Yeah, the visuals did go down...since it was a PS3 exlusive...you think they had to downgrade it for the 360?

Actually I was just gonna say, that could be coz now they've started showing this game on 360 (remember X06 was the first time they actually showed the playable build and that was on the 360), and at that time also, it never looked THAT impressive, I mean yeah obviously, but not in the same league as say GRAW 2 or Gears, specially considering it's nearly a 3rd Gen 360 game. But yeah, when they first showed this game in E3 06 it was purely a PS3 exclusive and even though there wasnt any gameplay footage, the Target Render looked Whoa-inspiring..
Although I am only comparing it to the first time I saw the gameplay footage (as in not a cutscene) and that was in December - 06 and from that, this trailer doesnt look all that different.. I could be wrong though as mostly the X06 footage was captured using a CAM off a Big Stage Demonstration Screen..

No i dont think multiplatform status has affected it.this game was never exclusive,even when it was shown for the ps3 it was said to be running on the 360.
Only worry is ubisofts inability to make gr8 games into genre defining ones.
P.s- unlike the games visuals jade raymond looks better each time i see her
