www.angry-gamer.net/ag/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=325&Itemid=2 Not content to give standard def TV users irreparable eyestrain merely with Dead Rising, Capcom has decided to turn the screws on the SDTV crowd once again. This time it's the Lost Planet multiplayer text.
Wow, thanks, Capcom. Seriously, I'm no game developer, but how hard is this? Here's a solution I've been working on. See if this might help.
MAKE THE TEXT BIGGER.

I have dead rising and an sdtv and cant read mission objectives.Dont know why capcom is assuming that everybody has hdtv or is using moniter?I had recently created a poll only 76 people participated in it out of them 50 users play on sdtv 19 people play on hdtv and only 7 people play on moniter. www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=25127636&page=1

Any savage with a standard definition television and a copy of Capcom's Dead Rising knows the pains of tiny text. Those with SD televisions were given text so small it was nearly indecipherable. The Lost Planet demo made it appear as if Capcom had not learned its lesson. Those playing the demo on SD TV sets have already begun complaining about the small text during multiplayer Elimination matches. Fear not, Capcom has heard your cries of protest and is making fixes for the final release. When you place your copy of Lost Planet in your 360 in mid-January, it will automatically detect whether you have an HD or SD TV. If you have an SD TV, you will get appropriately larger text. This fix is not going to be implemented in the demo, but as you can see from the comparison below, it makes a big difference in the retail version. peace

i am playing Lost Planet on my 21" SDTV, apparently i am not facing any problems but then again it just has 2 missions but stuffs like these mean that some day we will need to buy an LCD unit. I think this is being done on purpose so that gamers buy LCD screens but i dont see what a game publisher gains out of this
