LOL... Let's have a war!
Sorry KC but Crysis looks better... even in motion. I've seen videos for both and Crysis certainly has an edge...

i'm no expert on graphics but there's little to chose from those screens....i've seen the MGS4 trailer and although i havent seen the crysis trialer i did watch the crytek demo video and it looks very very promising....i personally hate the color correction feature being used in games and movies nowadays where the screen is washed in yellows and blues (CSI anyone?)...so on that front i'll give it to crysis for the life-like colour
peace

brown/grey are the colors that are supposed be in for a next gen game Gow also used the grey brown color scheme and i believe many next gen games are using it Crysis imo looks better and will remain the same way even after both games release. I also think the brown tone goes well with mgs since its set in a dusty wartorn zone

hmmm both look good !
In some game conference, one of the main guys of crytek said that to run crysis in its full glory (as given in trailers/screenshots) even PS3/X360 hardwares mite not be sufficient ! So taking note of the fact that the below screenshots are on a machine much superior than PS3, I think MGS 4 gets the upperhand....but overall gfxwise, crysis rocks ! Its environment is more varied and open-ended....not sure of MGS 4 in that aspect !

crysis will always luk better on paper, but even the 8800 won't be able to play it in ultra detail at max resolution..........single-digit frames are on da cards!!!...............i guess only the ATI series of dx10 cards will be able to handle it!!!!.........and as far as i know, they ain't out yet!!!!
