hey guys i am planning to buy a high defination tv..so just wanted to ask you guys which is the best high defination tv which is available in india and also im considered that will it give good cable signals in india ..i think xbox 360 would be aweseom in it clear as hell but im not sure how clear indian tv signals would be so just wanted to confirm..please give opinions

Dont understand your question: 1.) 'I am worried about indian cable tv signals' - why are you worried? Last I checked they are standard electro magnetic waves - and not radioactive at all  2.) Should I buy a normal plasma? - Again what do you mean here? What is a 'normal plasma' ? Were you thinking of buying an abnormal TV - I wouldnt advise that at all. |

dude i meant that the indian tv signals dont show properly and appeared to be streched as i heard from my friend..so just wanted to confirm and by a normal plasma i meant just a plasma which is not high defination ..does this clear your mind ?

have any indian broadcasters announced their plans for HDTV? i think not.
your HDTV set will basically be a screen for watching upscaled dvd movies/HD movies (BR, HD-DVD) or for next-gen gaming (360/PS3)

Yes - that clears it up a bit.
Depending on the mode of your TV, the cable signals can be displayed in its native resolution (squarish box with black bars on either side) or stretched to fill the screen - this works just fine - no worries.
As for normal plasma, all of them are high definition - which one do you have in mind that is not high definition? If you let me know what you have in mind I may be able to help better.

thanks that helped allot..ill just buy that samsung lcd hdtv with tata sky almost 4got about tata sky and dish tv ill take tht with them but test in the stroe once before buyin

Would advise to take your xbox 360 with you and test it on the model you want to buy..... and let us know your feedback on the model you choose to buy.
