OK, I'm posting this topic in the hope of some practical suggestions from some forumers here. I really dont know if its wise to ask for these suggestions in a gaming forum....but oh well, we have many adults here Lately, since the last 2-3 months or so, I'm having this stupid, annoying habit (which I realize later) of sleeping very late, usually at 12-1. I need to get up at around 6 to go to work since the office bus comes at around 7:15. Now, after I reach office, becoz of my inadequate sleep, concentration on work is ZERO and needless to say I feel very sleepy. Somedays, unable to hold off my sleep in office, I just sneak out at 4(officially I'm supposed to stay till 6). Till date, I've got 2 warnings from my manager regarding my shortage of work hours and I'm very pissed off now Howmuch ever I try, I'm unable to break my habit of sleeping late. Its like everyday, I decide to get to bed by 10, but eventually end up playing games or watching TV and before I know its 12 - 1. This is really annoying and getting out of hand - needless to say damn irritating as well. Anyone having any ideas on how to break this habit ? I know a strong will power is needed, but just how to develop that ? Any suggestions is highly appreciated !

btw even i sleep at 1 atleast..but get up by 7:30 probably its just how u get used to it.. even i doze off in my office for couple of minutes probably u will get used to it after some time....

try rehab!!!!lol..... ok.u can do 1 thing.when u come from office try to do all ur fav things like gaming,watching TV or anything else u usually do at night,even though u r tired.tat way after u hav finished it u will be too tired to do anything else and eventually sleep early.also u wont feel tat u havnt enjoyed as u would hav alredy finished gaming etc.

cant help u there....when i have morning shift, i sleep at 12-1 and wake up at 5 am....no issues with concentration at work....imo sleep is overrated ;D

lol its about habit used to sleep at 2-3 am and get up around 11 ,now i sleep around 4 - 4.30 and get up by 10.

see, u gotta understand tht u need some min hrs of sleep per day....if u're coming home after office and sleeping for a few hrs just to charge up, then STOP IT...!! then, automatically u'll feel tired in the nite and will have to sleep....
basically, make it a habit to sleep only at nite....
and also, yr habit will be ok in the week....wht messes it all up is the weekend....try not to disturb yr sleep time in the weekends....dont sleep in the day time....tht way, u will get used to sleeping in the nite and not feeling sleepy all day....
