My xbox is connected to multipoint plug which is also used for the TV, set top box.
This means that it is on standby mode 24/7 with the orange light on.
Will i face any problems in the long run??? Should i disconnect the main power cord whenever the xbox is not in use?

well its always better to have a seperate connection for the 360 rather than plug all of them into one multiplug...i ended up blowing parts of my pc coz i used a spike buster....
even at my office...im always told to connect my console directly to the power supply instead of connecting many plugs in a multiplug...

Another good idea is to have a ‘surge protect’ plug or extension before you plug in your console or electrical goods

im not gonna take any chances, im buying a UPS for my 360.....in delhi, during summer, there are lots of power spikes and sometimes really low voltages and also half the time there are power cuts.....i think its a good idea to buy a ups and spend abt 2000 more rather than damage yr xbox....!!
