After getting the PS3, we were excited about it, one of the main reasons being Virtua Fighter 5. Like fellow Indians, we love to play fighting games, whether it is Street Fighter on Sega Saturn or Dead or Alive 4 on the Xbox 360. After waiting for weeks, we finally managed to get a copy of Virtua Fighter 5. It arrived yesterday at the GameGuru.in HQ. Like five-year olds on a Christmas morning, we tore open the cover and we were so excited that it broke! Thankfully, the disc was safe. Happily, we took the game to our labs and put it in Sony’s next-gen console. The game looks somewhat similar to DOA 4. One of the things that takes the fun away from the Virtua Fighter 5 experience is the lack of the force feedback in the PS3. However, the characters are great and it was fun to play a fighting game after a long, long time. My personal favourite is Akira, who looks realistic and human in the game. I hope they make a movie on Virtua Fighter 5! As the last fighting game that we played was DOA 4, we were looking forward to something even better than it was. But, Virtua Fighter didn’t live up to our expectations. All we can do is wait for Virtua Fighter 5 for the Xbox 360 or wish that Sega comes out with a new, improved Virtua Fighter 6. www.gameguru.in/fighting/2007/24/virtua-fighter-5-what-the-gamegurus-are-currently-playing/

Whoever reviewed it is an absolute moron!! How can you even compare Virtua Fighter to DOA?? DOA is too shallow from hardcore gameplay point of view.

Yu Suzuki is the designer of the VF game. San is japanese for Mister, formal way of taking someone's name like KC San etc

^^ Very arguable my friend. Both VF and Tekken are very technical fighting games. You cant simply say one is better than the other. However, a fan of one generally disses the other My opinion DOA<<Soul Calibur VF~~Tekken :Can't say, depends more for on preference.

Played the demo over the weekend here. Man ! the gfx are breathtaking, the animations are so fluid, this sure is a kickass game ! Hope the 360 port turns out to be as good ! BTW, was the demo really easy? I was able to knock out all the opponents before it asked me to buy the full version and this was my first try with VF series !
