Not Good, it is being reported that Robbie Bach admitted to the media in a conference call that all Xbox 360’s have a design fault which may cause them to fail. That would be every single one of them, so that little white box in your lounge that hasn’t given you a day of trouble is really just a ticking time bomb… It might not fail but the chances are that it will within it’s first two years of life. Thankfully Microsoft has now increased the warranty to 3 years so you are covered but you have to ask how this was possible. They really should have tested it much better. Robbie Bach stated that this design flaw only surfaced recently but who can really believe that. We have been hearing and reporting about breaking consoles for the last 18 months. They really should have picked this up earlier. www.lazygamer.co.za/xbox-360/update-on-xbox-360-design-failures/

Hehe, as much as I criticize 360, I'm still on my first. Bought in March last year, and in last 16 months I've flash modded it twice, case modded it twice, did all the updates with modified firmware and it has neither died nor banned. But it does freeze on hourly basis, gives disk unreadable error after an hour of playtime and damaged my GOW disk .

I'll see if I find someone in Mumbai. I can change it and flash it myself. I just need to know how they change the power input plug on the drive or the motherboard.

lol @ this poll on xbox-scene....just the fact that they would put such a poll on their homepage speaks volumes
Question: Microsoft's Biggest Mistake with the 360? 1. Red Ring of Dead (RRoD) Problem 2. Denying/Ignoring RRoD for 1.5y 3. At launch only 90days warranty in USA 4. Crappy D-pad 5. Low quality of standard headset 6. Sync issues with early controllers and wireless headset 7. Limited filetype support for media playback 8. Lack of a webbrowser 9. Overpriced accessoires (WiFi Adapter, HDD) 8. No internal High-Def/Capacity Disc
