In an interview with Joystiq here are a few things Peter Moore had to say. With regards to the PS3, I haven't played it a lot. They need something that consumers say, this is why I need to buy a PlayStation 3. Killzone may be that, I don't know what else could be. Metal Gear Soli -- 2008. We're going to have to wait and see, but they have laid out who they are, we've certainly, as I said Tuesday night, put our cards on the table and the consumer will decide. It will be a very, very important holiday. n4g.com/News-51900.aspx

This is the same guy who had said PS3 is another Dreamcast just a month ago. Ironically, he is the guy who persuaded SEGA to kill Dreamcast and go all software back when he was working for them. He was also a major driving force behind convincing M$ to abandon original Xbox asap and put all efferts behind 360. With two dead consoles under his belts, I wonder what's next on his list

yep he was working for sega and he told them to stop making dreamcast, because 2 new consoles the MS xbox and the GamecubeN(then named dolphin) were entering, his decision can be questioned because the dreamcast at that time was a selling like hotcakes in america, and the ps2's situation was just like the ps3's now, after the much hyped launch there were no games,it was just a glorified dvd player in your home.things were looking up for the dreamcast each day and it was well matching and outdoing the ps2 in terms of graphics and games, and then one fine day sega drop the bombshell, they are out of the hardware business. if that wasnt enough once sega was out ,peter moore resigned and then joined MS,also if anyone followed xbox's launch there were pretty strong rumors that all DC titles would be backwards compatible with the xbox, that didnt happen though.
