source-http://kotaku.com/gaming/event/sonys-gamers-day-here-i-come-260272.php
I just got back to Denver from my trip to San Francisco and visiting Ubisoft, EA, Sega and checking out Halo 3's multiplayer, and now I'm off to San Diego to check out Sony's Gamers Day.
The three day event will include, I'm told, a bit of mingling tonight, a whole lot of PS3 and PSP news tomorrow, and a bit more on Thursday morning. There are supposed to be a slew of first and third party games on hand and perhaps we'll be getting some announcements. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and hope for a Playstation Portable Store announcement so I can finally start to buy triple-A movies and TV shows directly to my PSP. Comes on store...
I suspect I'll be traveling a lot more going to events now that I don't work full time for the Rocky. Freelancing has really cleared up my schedule. I've also been asked to become a Game Critics Judge, which means I'll be one of the people helping to select the Best of E3 winners.
I've always been a little confused about how that whole thing worked, so this should give me interesting insight. Last week, was in fact, a way for all of the judges to get some time with a bunch of games. A collection of companies flew out all of the judges to the events, including me. So the process is underway already.
Make sure to check back tonight and later this week for all of the Sony news as it happens. Brian Crecente

these are rumors for now sony has asked the media to keep their mouths shut till thu/fri
PSN - David Jaffe will be forming his own studio focusing on downloadable content. SCEA involved in two downloadable titles with the new studio. - Relay (Sony Online Entertainment in partnership with Factor5) is an online MMO, the game is based in a Western styled sci-fi universe. The game has some strategy elements. Likened to both Advance Wars and Halo Wars. 15 second trailer and no dates given. - "the next" Syphon Filter game could be a PSN game based around DLC with a Blu Ray release at the end. - Stardust HD - Nucleuz likened to Blast Factor - Vegas Poker - Top down arcade shooter. [untitled] Compared to Capcom's 1942 - Arcade base shooter [untitled] Compared to Metal Slug meets Cars and Heavy Weapon XBLA. - Loco Roco not shown - We will see some user generated stuff suprises!
PS3 - Uncharted by Naughty Dog Game of the show: confirmed - Lair by Factor5, playable demo coming to PSN in June, August release. Exceptional frame rate now. - Eye of Judgement by SCE Japan, shown. Works with PlayStation Eye peripheral (also shown) - Ratchet and Clank Future by Insomniac, looking fantastic but has some frame issues. less than 30 fps: confirmed - Heavenly Sword by Ninja Theory. Looking fantastic. - Sony has over 40 PlayStation 3 games in development at present, this number is for retail games. To be shown later in the year. - Eight Days to be based on episodic content. Each day is an episode- potential Blu Ray release at the end. Sony's experiment with DLC to deliver a game sooner rather than later. - SlantSixGames working on something. Follow that lead. - The most succesful PSN games wlil be featured on Blu Ray compilations.
PSP - Nothing mentioned.
PS2 - Nothing but hints regarding classic PS2 titles. Abort ship: confirmed.
A huge thank you from everyone except Sony PR to everyone who contibuted and helped. A pinch of salt with everything, and hopefully many suprises to follow in the media blowout.

I think sony played their card really well today. They didnt reveal much about their unseen titles except uncharted. Of the games uncharted and heavenly sword looked stunning with gameplay to match.ratchet looked good but ran choppily , and insomniac have once again outdone themselves with the weapons, groovatron bomb anyone(makes the enemy dance).warhawk and socom led the online gaming arena.folksoul was the big suprise nothing much was expected of this ,but it turnedout to be the biggest surprise of the show.lair was a disappointment simply because nothing new was shown.little planet was just allowed to plan without letting the users to use the creation menu(saved that for e3). Home was shown and looked good,no big issues yet. New psn games showed and are surprisingly good not 8/16 bit rehash. What was good is that sony are not forcing developers to put multiplayer into every game.
