Major PSP problem!!! Please help

Ok here's the history

I have a 2.60 PSP with a TA-082 mobo....i downgraded to 1.5 and then upto 3.03 OE-C...thats what i currently have (its hows so in the system info)

here's exactly what i did after upgrading to 3.03 OE-C

i made a folder named ISO in the root of my memory card and i transferred my games into that folder

these are the games i've tried: burnout revenge (cso), ridge racer 2 (cso), nfs carbon (iso)

when i go into the USB option under games it shows the game's icon (in the case of revenge and RR2)...but it doesnt show NFS

when i try to start burnout revenge, the loading bar comes and when it reaches 3/4 of the way it freezes and doesnt move further

in the case of RR2, it shows that arcade thingy and ssays press select to launch the game....the moment i do that, the screen goes black and nothing further happens

so basically, BR and RR2...the game initially loads up but freezes in the initial stages (these are both CSOs)...in the case of NFS (ISO) it doesnt even show up in the XMB as if it isnt on the memory card at all


sorry for that lengthy description but i'm a total PSP newbie and i have no idea what's wrong...does anyone know what the problem is?

PS: can anyone tel me what msroot is?

ok first of all u had terrible luck and dled corrup files of all 3 games(unlikely),or something wrong with your mem stick.
format your memstick again and try to upgrade to 3.10 oe as it has added support for ciso(compressed iso).
why nfs mi8 not be showing up?? check in your ISO folder in MS if carbon is in another folder.
eg in your iso folder it should be iso-nfscarbon.iso and not iso-nfsfolder-nfsc.iso. another reason could be there is a space between the name
eg if its "nfs carbon.iso" make it "nfscarbon.iso"
this shd help.

p.s -msroot is the root of your mem stick.that is the first page that shows when u connect the psp to pc.

i'll try upgrading to 3.10oe...is there a away to upgrade from 3.03oe to 3.10oe?

the nfs i tried is the one u gave me....i've downloaded revenge twice...both different versions..both freeze at the same point

every 3.10 upgrade come with files that can upgrade 3.02/03 and 1.5
try using the autoinstaller from psp-hacks.com

dude just do this ..first nake backup of ur mem stick the game saves and all then format mem stick downgrade ur psp to 1.50 and install the new devhook wich can play games till 3.02 firmware and then just put all iso and cso in the iso folder and it should work..there is a simple video on youtube as well which shos u how its done...
