We reported a while ago on the rumors of an 80 GB PS3 on the way, well it seems it’s coming sooner then you thought. Kotaku got a nice fresh pic in the mail of what looks like the new model.
It has a new model number (98004) and a larger hard drive spec (80 gigabytes/80 gigaoctets). Supposedly it’s a Canadian boxed PS3. With the 20 GB now DEAD, is the 60 GB going to be the new 20 and the 80 the new 60. Man this shit is confusing, oh well. If this is legit how much is this PS3 gonna set gamers back? Supposedly this new model was going to have updates to the bluetooth as well as the lack of the PS2 chipset. But who knows, maybe were lucky it will have the rumble back.
