It never ceases to amaze me how people can drop thousands of dollars on some of the dumbest products around. Just last week a $12,100 winning bid yielded the world’s only Maserati Red PS3. The 60GB version features all of the fixin’s you would find on the normal black version, but this um, thing, comes with two red wireless controllers too.
There are lots of pictures to take a look at on the bid page, but as I look at them I can’t help but wonder: if I painted my old Dell Axim Maserati Red, could I sell that dead paperweight for 12K too? Yikes.
