I think we might be having a thread for Alan Wake. But anyway, yeah this game looks amazing, kinda like a cross between Max Payne and Silent Hill! It's too bad we probably won't see it before 2008...

I guess it's good they're taking their time. Besides this year is already crowded with so many high profile releases...

Alan Wake's a Vista Exclusive In an interview with YouGamers, Remedy Entertainment’s Petri Järvilehto and Markus Mäki confirmed what we’d suspected since a while now – Alan Wake is a Windows Vista exclusive. Here’s a part of their conversation: "YouGamers: So - last two questions, we promise! The biggest things with PCs at the moment are Windows Vista and DirectX 10. Anything special for DX10? Mäki: [puts on a formal-sounding voice] We haven’t announced anything for DX10 yet… YouGamers: Just to confirm things then, the PC version is only for Windows Vista and not for XP machines… Järvilehto: That's correct - the game is Vista exclusive" With so many great titles such as Alan Wake and Crysis releasing as Window Vista exclusives, there’s no doubt that PC gamers will have to move onto Vista sooner or later; and just like the transition from Windows 98 to Windows XP, it’ll probably take time, but I’ve a feeling that it’ll be worth the wait. www.tech2.com/india/news/pc-games/alan-wakes-a-vista-exclusive/6853/0
