The game looks fantastic visually, but looks bit complicated to play....are all the games in the series like this ? For ex: the scene where ss poses as statue, now, how would a newbie playing the game know of such stuff ? Unless there are some hints/help on the screen for first-timers, this game is gonna get real frustrating to play !

LOL....i was totally surprised to see u post in this thread ... i am damn sure it wont suit your taste.... I am playing MGS 3.Let me tell you one thing you need to be real patient to enjoy it. learning curve for the game is a bit steep. No screen tips! very different style of combat/gameplay/control layout. Hints are usually concealed or revealed in the radio conversations you do. You have to gather your own food. regularly change camo. You can call it a sim for shooters

yes...totally liked the boss battles. i think i would have been more involved if i would have known the rest of the story.... My deduction is that Snake eater is not a game for someone who has not played the rest in the series. especially if he has seen the MGS4 trailer. I was totally stumped and couldnt figure out whos who!

actually no ,snake eater doesnt have much to do with the other games in terms of plot interconnecting, its more like a standalone game, knowing the story helps tho'. how far have u reached??
