well it is a rally game so the same physics rules dont apply....its all about drifitng and brake-throttle control....i've liked all the colin mcrae games so this is a no-brainer for me

i played the demo ts SWEET..graphics are simply awesome as avishkar mentioned..definate buy for me...well i have seen motorstorm playing in a shop and this is slightly better than motorstorm..the full version not gonna be a big leap just new features ...graphicss are so fu*cking awesome dude..u all gotta try this one out

ohh my goddddddd. what game.. i somehow never ever though codies could make such abeautiful game.. its awesome.. the graphics are jaw dropping.. if Motorstorm looks better than thin.. HATS OFF to sony.. the game play awesome.. PPl who like Forza will hate it because u must rember this is arcade not a SIM... the inside c0ckpit view is crazy million times better than forza.. the dirt flying on the track totally realistic.. just hope they implement the wheel on this.. Only thing that could have been better is the lighting... forza lighting is leaps ahead of this... if u jus want fun this is the game

Please KracKChap, dont compare this to GT:HD (that is quite possibly the Meca of Racing Sims on Console), this game's got awesome graphics for sure, but the sheer drop in framerate is annoying at times, I Hope it's fixed in the full game. It's more towards Eyecandy this game, than strong gameplay. Which shows, thru out the demo, right from the Menu itself

.. Mind you am gonna get this any case. And the main part of the game (point to point rallying, with Nicky Grist's voice as ur Co-Driver is not even present in this demo.. And that is going to be the best part, Damage is something this came can win awards for. Turn10 should take a look at this then they'll realise that their damage system isnt even 50% to this. I mean if you Bang hard on the ArmCo Barriers they friggen bend and you can Feel the impact. It's THAT good..

Although people who've claimed this looks better than MotorStorm, clearly havent seen MotorStorm on a Good HD TV thru an HDMi input.. MotorStorm does have the framerate drop issue too, so I've heard. From what I saw of it, it was pretty solid.. But yeah this game is gonna be a clear winner if you put em head to head, in all aspects..

Can't wait for : Assassin's Creed, Fable 2, GT5, Uncharted and obviously MGS4.

i think the engine sounds in the demo was spectacular..
motorstorm has better track effects,but Dirt has the car models that are clearly superior here.
gameplay wise u cant really compare ,motorstorm is an arcade racer on the lines of burnout and ,in DiRT if u crash ,its mostly because of a driving error ,not the case with motorstorm ,where 2 ai battling it out can take u out with them.
both run at 720p and 30fps but DiRT has a bit of framerate issues ,noticeable in the c0ckpit view,motorstorm does not have any noticeable frame rate issues(can confirm it myself).

Apart from my discovery that i suck at racing games(first forza and now this), this was the only other thing that caught my eye. DAMN COOL menu system!!!
