Just received a review package wth Crackdown. It will be released all over Hk this afternoon so if any of you want this game you can probably place your orders with PlayAsia today.
I played it on one of my other GTs briefly and it looks ok.

Good Question. I honestly do not know. but a guy here with a UK Pal machine says my disc works fine. He just borrowed it from me for a few hours.
EDIT: Called up my buddy and it does work on a UK console. This is the Asian release so I assume that it will work on the Indian consoles as well.

The game is pretty crappy..Not worth more than 5 bucks IMO. Fusion Frenzy 2 is pretty fun and Midway is OK. I would recommend saving up for GRAW2 instead of Crackdown.

Y'know I usually trust Gamespot's reviews, so I'll wait until their official review is out. Although I must admit they're sometimes too lenient in their scores. When majority of reviews are positive, the game is usually worth playing. In the end it all depends on personal taste really...

>>maybe but many of the game reviewers gave it good reviews...is it a gta clone or something?<< I tend to trust player input more than reviews. MS releases usually get great reviews at some sites /mags.
I have tested and played the game and think its a load of crap (even tho i got it for free). The prices were dropped this evening in HK due to poor sales. Sales on games at this time of the year (one week b4 Chinese new year) are very good and even Midway is selling better than Crackdown.
The stores here will be giving out a free Crackdown hat and some other freebies starting this weekend to try and push sales. I think it would be smart to dump this on the Indian market as I am sure the Indian gamers who are starved for games would pick it up in a heartbeat.
