LOL... Thanks! Yeah I have too many games to play too (and I wonder why I keep getting news ones!). I must have finished so many games since last year but I've been playing Oblivion regularly.

Hey, I love Oblivion and have had no issues with gold; here are a few gameplay tips that I hope will help (may contain some spoilers regarding reward quest items): - Finish the Dark Brotherhood Guild quest line. In one of the missions you will recieve a free horse that is the fastest in the game (The same speed as a black horse) and will also sometimes provide a distraction in combat (To Join the Dark brotherhood just murder someone and sleep; you will be visited shortly by one of them). By doing the questline you'll recieve alot of items AND a horse which should avoid having to spend your money on a horse. - Steal. Steal Steal Steal! Im into 100,000 gold now and I still like to steal the silver pitchers and cups off shelves. If no one can see you take it. Once you join the thieves guild you'll be able to sell them off to fences and make a truckload of cash. Just go into stealth mode and if you see the little eye cursor light up, then don't take it. But once you've mastered sneak and positioning yourself for a perfect pickpocket, you'll be pickpocketing Counts. (Its very fun and they can have from upward to 500+ gold). - Kill Umbra. Umbra is a very powerful warrior that secludes herself in a dungeon under the Ayelid ruin of Vindasel near the Imperial City. I recommend fighting her earlier on as she is extremely tough to beat. And Very Fast. But if you do kill her you get one of the best swords in the game and pretty good gear earlier on. If you have trouble killing her: I suggest grabbing a bow and a hefty supply of arrows. Jump on the ledge or one of the coloumns and snipe her out. She wont attack you until you attack her. You better be a good shot. . You could also try attacking her and then run to a waiting horse outside and have her chase you back to the imperial city so the guards can kill her. (However Umbra is extremely fast and unless you have a black horse or shadowmere she will most likely catch up to you) - Turn into a vampire. Along the Dark Brotherhood quest line, you get the offer to become a vampire. I recommend taking it as you get increased strength and the ability to see in the dark with a very low cost of mana. And Oblivion is worth it on the Xbox 360. 2510 and all. Ive done everything at the moment, and im still playing haha. Right now im collecting books and putting them in my house. im trying to get everybook and once i get my telekenisis spell up im gunna put em in shelves and make me a library . I love Oblivion. Cant get enough of it. I hope this helps.

Shicko, your description of the game makes me wanna re-intsall it on my PC. I had unintalled it a couple of days back in favor of halo and POP TT ! just a curious q, regarding increasing gold, I just found one dungeon on the way from prison waters to that small sleepy town of dark brotherhood and I didnt get much gold there and also, whenever I stole, I was caught . Does this stealing skill depend on any particular race/skills ? And whats the best race/skill etc to make the game a bit easier ? I mite just start this again....sounds very tempting ;D !

race/birthsign chosen entirely depends on how do u like to play i like to use spells and weapons equally so chose race as breton(extra magica, some good starting spells and resistence to magicka) birthsign as battle mage, has blade, blunt, alchemy, destruction, alteration, conjuration as major skills(just my dream) i dont think being a theif would make u earn more n all..cos then u would suck at combat and wont be able to get money and rank advnacement from quests those involve combat(usually guild related) later on in the game u can buy spells and enchant items which can make u disappear or chameleon you.... with thief ish race/birthsign u wont have much combat spell skill so its your choice.. i have still many side quests left of mages guild and dark brotherhood. in 360 oblivion with no patches, the game gets stuck at the end of the umbra quest.. anyways was not worried about getting it either cos i had a daedric longsword with enchantment to drain 30 health....consequently more powerful than umbra.. probably shicko was a thief so his strength and combat skill was low consequently he found it hard to fight UMBRA. for me it was just another fight cos my character had encumberence beyond 1000 when i fought UMBRA they way i know u gtavin i think u want to be a battle mage/breton or battlemage/khajit

they way i know u gtavin i think u want to be a battle mage/breton or battlemage/khajit I was a redguard before I uninstalled the game, but specializing in combat I thought redguard were the most powerful in combat Anyway, thanks for the tips dude, let me see, maybe the coming weekend, I'll re-install it and give it another shot with breton and khajit like u said Since we dont have anything much coming for x360, back to PC. I was finding difficulty with the below activities, so i asked for the perfect combination: 1. lock picking - i suck at this 2. mercentile - i always traded at a very less % of the cost price 3. Stealth - I was always caught while pick-pocketing P.S: BTW, thinking of also upgrading my gfx card(to nvidia 7 series) and RAM (to 1024 MB)....as even now the best games are still on PC....PC Rulez....Yeah baby ;D !

I didnt see the movie, but from the way you are telling it, it seems like a "machinima". This is done using the game engine, there are various mods and camera hack tools used for doing this. I believe the most famous movie of this genre was the one based on "halo" engine !

lockpicking can be improved using the skeleton key. this you get in one of the daedric quests. this skeleton key gives u 20+ security and it never breaks.....viola..u will be on a stealing spreeeeee. pickpocketing needs your security level to be a bit high.... try to buy a spell that makes u invisible or chamleleons you, take off all your armour(it makes u more visible and audible to others) cast that spell on self and then pickpocket...u will be more successfull. walk slow while stealing(in case u dint already know) running reveals ur position. try to pickpocket sleeping ppl(more success)
Mercantile skill is one that you IMO should get training for. its hard to raise it...but returns are good.....
apart from this there is one shitty thing that there is an upper limit to what a trader can pay you. so if his upper limit is 1200 and if u try selling him a thing worth 5k you will get 1200 only ..so careful!!
haggeling not only depends on your mecantile skill but also on your personality... so you can either use boost personality enchantments or illusion spells to raise the traders disposition towards you. helps to haggle more.
collect as many daedric items as possible. daedric armours and weapons are the most effective and most valuable.. beware!! they are also the heaviest...

race breton -enhanced magicka/regenration of magicka/and some resistance to magic birthsign - battlemage- blade, blunt, alchemy, conjuration, alteration, destruction,(one more i dont remember) btw birht sign is something u can customise(yep game allows it) for yourself..u can select the major skills u want..
after reaching certain level in the game u will find people talking about daedric shrines..you will get new topics on shrines and then will get map marker for the shrine...go to the shrine take up the quest, complete it, you will get items that will be of great use.. in case you want the positions of the shrines, use the guide i have posted earlier.
apart from this if u can find doomstones...using those doomstones u can get some major spells that can be used once in a day..they are extremely powerful but are not connected to any attribute

It's always best to create your custom class and pick the skills you feel you'll use the most as your main skills. It's much easier and quicker to level up this way... gtavint: Glad that you are giving Oblivion another shot. And keep up the PC gaming support dude! I'm a PC gamer first too!
