Do you believe in ghosts? Why do/don't you believe in them?Did you have some freaky experience or do you have a paranormal story to share? Let everyone know through this thread. As for me, I do believe in ghosts.I haven't had any ghoulish experiences(so far) but the various stories my friends and relatives told me have turned me into a believer. Ok, here's one story I found on the internet. There was this girl who was home alone and took a picture of herself with the webcam and sent it to her boyfriend. He asked who the person behind her was and she had no idea what he was talking about so he told her to look closely at the mirror on the picture and there was a boy there. You can see parts of her back in the mirror and the boy, but there's no boy in the room.Apparently, the police were involved and they found a shot wound or something on his forehead when they zoomed in on the picture. Here's the pic see the boy in the back? Warning: It is highly recommended that you view this thread only at the night ,with lights turned off. ok, that warning part was really silly, wasn't it?

have any of you guys experienced deja vu? it's like you see yourself doing something in your dream and the same thing happens the next day. it's like you have psychic powers or something. this happened many times in my case although i don't seem to remember them pretty well.

There is a famous TV show in US called Ghost Hunters, where a bunch of guys and girls try to hunt down ghosts in famous haunted places. They use high-tech gadgets like infra-red/night vision cameras, EM/temperature disturbance meter and such. They do manage to get some weird happenings on camera or on there equipments. There theory is that around a ghost/spirit, the temperature is drastically low than ambient room temp. Also there is some kind of EM energy floating around them. The show is so creepy, because it is happening live, in real life, like in reality show. The show has lot of credibility since they disprove most of the rumors of ghosts. But sometimes they do manage to catch some lonely sucker floating in afterlife.

Stop it altair *drawing the curtains*, or I'll reduce one of your karma ;D ;D. I sleep at 4 and there's still more than 3 hours to go. This is the reason why I don't play F.E.A.R. at this hour.

did you ever have the feeling that you were being watched by someone when you were alone?? All the time when I'm at work. I work on ships as navigating officer. My duty hours are 12pm-6pm and 12am-4am everyday (no holidays). My watch is on the bridge (c0ckpit equivalent of airplane). On modern ships the engine room is unmanned at nights. That means I'm the only guy awake at this hour. So imagine when you're alone after midnight and only awake person--which points you out of the crowd for prying eyes--, surrounded by room full of huge glass windows, in the middle of the dark sea, nobody around for hundreds of nautical miles, on a big metal ship that makes all kinds of sounds under stress, usually bellowing wind since its open ocean, and oh yes, the bridge has to be absolutely dark so you can see ships and lights outside, for four hours, sometimes more when you adjust clocks for time-zones. Cold, cloudy/rainy nights makes it worse. Man, I was so freaked out for first few days that the Captain had to keep a guy with me just so I don't jump overboard running away from some freaky white Lady of the Sea that I told him I see every night. There is a reason why there are so many ghost ship and haunted sea stories and sailors are considered most superstitious...

IMO people who believe in ghosts are like people who believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy
