www.next-gen.biz/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4413&Itemid=2Confirming rumors, Warner Bros. said today it would invest in 10.3 percent of UK-based Eidos parent SCi. Today's deal is worth 44.5 million pounds, or $87.5 million.
Okay with the financial mumbo-jumbo out of the way, here is the actual scoop: As part of the content agreement, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will allow SCi to create games based on the comic book version of Batman, the aforementioned Looney Toons and Hanna-Barbera titles such as Tom and Jerry and The Flintstones. The evening drama The O.C. and the animated shows Loonatics Unleashed and Legion of Super Heroes are also part of the deal.
