www.fragland.net/news.php?id=15192Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) has said that it will create its own first person shooter game, Severity - specially made for team-vs-team and 1vs1 modes. Severity will be built on the technology developed by id Software and will have superior tournament support, spectator modes, as well as comprehensive player and tournament statistics tracking. The game is in development for PC and consoles (which ones isn't known yet) and is being made by a team led by Tom Mustaine (who recently left Ritual Entertainment). The game will also be coming to consoles and Mustaine told us he is interesting in talking to Microsoft to have Severity support Live Anywhere with the idea of having PC and Xbox 360 Severity gamers play each other.
