The first of two epic RPG projects for Microsoft by Mistwalker, the studio founded by Square-Enix's Hironobu Sakaguchi.
Blue Dragon features characters by designer Akira Toriyama, and tells the story of a young boy named Shu, who battles enemies using his "Dragon Shadow."

This might be *the* game that warms jap gamers to the 360 (i think MS is hedging its bets with BD & Lost Odyssey)

This is due for release in a few days but I am not sure if the Jap version will be bilingual.
I think its a bit late to "warm Jap/Asian gamers to the 360". These days even the ones with 360's are selling them off to buy a PS3.
Edit:
This title was released in HK today and is region free BUT..no one seems to know if it is bilingual (Jap/English).
I might stop by the game mall tomorrow and see if I can dig up some info.

Oh, and a copy of Blue Dragon, of course. The amazing thing is that all of this only costs 29,800 yen--roughly $259 US dollars. Incredibly cheap, yes, but considering most Japanese gamers wouldn't go within 50 feet of an Xbox 360 if you paid them, this kind of drastic pricing seems necessary.   V

Blue Dragon is not selling well here either. I had a go at the game and its totally unplayable. Oddly the manual is in Jap, Chinese & English. I used the money i put aside for this game to buy a remote for my PS3.  |

Its totally in Japanese. Unless you are able to read the kanji characters you cannot get very far.
The faceplate is being given away for free with this game in some stores.
