but the master league really was a major disappointment...absolutely nothing new...and pes6 can only be enjoyed on maximum difficuilty.....thats when it gets real.....defenders start closing u down so quick, you dont know what hit you
they also made the ball heavier, so u gotta hold X to make long passes...and with defenders breathing down your neck, so many times u dont have time to hold the button and u end up giving the ball away...very rarely do u get space and time to take a good shot....i love it

sports games should be equal portion SIM (realism) and equal portion ARCADE (fun) -- skew the balance a little too much towards any side and the gameplay suffers...
i personally believe game designers need to provide an immersive environment that offers just enough suspension of disbelief that you (the gamer/player) have fun, rather than feel frustrated by your lack of elite skills (that's defined by how well you can string button presses)

ps: this rant is in regards to gameplay mechanics

came third in my group, missed out on the knockout stages by 1 point because the winner of the group let his last match slip up with the guy who eventually finished second. Pissed at the time but it was quite satisfying to know I am not that far off the global competition in PES.
Scoring goals against them wasn't ever an issue neither was defending, the deciding factor in the tournament was the random form they made us use for all matches which meant our matches were down to a lot of luck.

Pre or Post Abramovich? It took a goal to wake chelsea up, agreed they hit the post 3 times but they didn't look like threatening until they were already a goal behind.
