yea, gamertv is nice...but ive felt many times tht for a weekly show, its pretty small....it merely touches upon the game....they can easily critic it in a more detailed manner....

Yeah would've been great if there was a daily show, wouldn't it? I mean the Gaming industry is one of the busiest and fastest moving industries out there...

I mean the Gaming industry is one of the busiest and fastest moving industries out there... tyler we spend so much time online for games, i guess if some1 started broadcasting somethin abt gaming 24/7 then we r pretty much sure to end up either becoming a couch potato or a nerd.....lol, as my dear friend once told me that too much of everything is bad.

according to my exp i believe we should never trust anybody's reviews as i have found a gud game getting reviewed terribely at gaming sites a million times, the site reviewers have set certain parameters when they review a game, and these parameters r not at all flexible, for eg a sequel of any game is given a low rating as seen in the case of god of war2. so my friend if some1 under rate a game which ur heart anticipate to be gud, u should always play that game coz most of the time the games turn out to be gr8

Besides most sites/gaming shows follow a pattern. If a game gets reviewed badly on the major sites like IGN, Gamespot etc. then automatically all others start hating it. I've played many games which scored a mediocre rating on Gamespot (the site I usually go by for picking up games) and I've enjoyed most of them.
Also, big publishers like Ubi, Capcom, Konami etc always have an advantage over indie developers. Even their average games end up getting high ratings.
Bottomline is that you don't always need a five-star game to enjoy it. Check the screens, videos, demos and decide if you want to buy the game or not. Reviews still do help to a certain extent. I would recommend reading User Reviews on GS/GameFAQs or Amazon rather than the professional ones.

sam:seeing dat u r on a rampage of locking threads i hope u dont lock this one.i mean u cant lock a 9 page thread for a 4 page thread(u know which)which has been started just now.i think "gamer.tv" atleast deserves a seperate thread.and if u do i will go on a rampage...lol......anyways,if u want,v can change the name of this thread & lock the other one....but NOT THIS thread....plz. cheers.

Ya i think SS is right...Gamer.TV should be seperate from the TV show thread...cause its only focusing on the games and not on other TV related stuff...

@ ss - the other game was Naruto - rise of the ninja...
all the games showed today were boring...hour of victory is a bit by bit copy of cod3....the only diff is tht u have to choose between characters tht are specialists, like sniper, stealth, etc...
graw 2 for psp looked bad...but im sure it would look pretty decent on the psp....
bioshock was the only game tht looked interesting to me today...was very diff....like a magical fictional shooter....looked worth trying...!!
fantastic 4 looked like a fun game....but its worth playing only multiplayer when 4 players are there...then u can do special moves, etc....would be fun....
scarface looked really like a mindless shooter....lot of gore though...but really boring imo....and the wii gfx also din help...
naruto also looked boring...it was on the lines of oblivion...but has a 1-1 fighting mode tht mite be good for arcade game lovers...
