"PES 2008 Playable In Leipzig & Much More
Details coming from French video game site JEUXVIDEO.fr today claims that PES 2008 will be playable at this years Leipzig Game Show which takes place around the 22nd of August. The article also has some more information from Konami officials regarding next-gen comparisons and the differences in WE/PES regional releases.
Translated (English): "Konami benefitted from the IDEF, the Cannes-native living room, to slip to us some interesting details about Pro Evolution Soccer 2008. For the first time, the Japanese version will be identical to that available in Europe this autumn. The reason is simple, the developers do not have more the resources in order to design various versions for the three markets (Japan, the United States and Europe). According to the editor, the versions intended for the consoles news generation PS3 and Xbox 360 should be identical from a technical point of view. Unfortunately, it will still be necessary to have patience until the end of August before being able to bank up the cramps since Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 will be revealed for the first time - in playable version - at the time of Games Convention, the German living room which will be held from August 22 in the town of Leipzig."
The article claims that for the first time the Japanese and European releases will be identical (except for languages etc), due to the strain on resources caused by developing on demanding next-gen consoles and many platforms. The US version is also being touted for an earlier release this year with many major US retailers claiming a December expected ship date. Secondly the editor claims that there should be no graphical differences between the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game. That last comment is sure to stir up the fanboy wars!"

LMAO yall have to read this gameguru article
Pro Evolution Soccer 6 will be unveiled at GCDC 2006 in Leipzig which is Europe’s main gaming event. What’s more important is that for the first time it will be on the Xbox 360 platform. Along with EA’s FIFA series, Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer is one of the best football titles.
Konami will be presenting the latest version of its famed football-simulation for the first time on a next generation format, and one of the key guests to present PES 6 to eager crowds will be the celebrated Shingo “Seabass” Takatsuka, the head of Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer team. The five-day event will see a series of other Konami next-generation product debuts in addition to Pro Evolution Soccer 6. But Konami has not yet revealed anything about it.
Pro Evolution Soccer 6 has a number of new teams authorized for inclusion, with the International roster which will now feature the official kits for Argentina, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Sweden. Further details on official club teams and more national squads will be released later.
Inter Milan and Brazil striker Adriano will be on the cover of Pro Evolution Soccer 6. The game will be released in autumn on PC DVD, PlayStation 2, PSP and, for the first time on Xbox 360 as well as Nintendo DS.

they have a poll on that blog and the results surprised me quite a bit....it seems this game is gonna do extremely well for the PS3 peace dude that's the most expected thing because it's always been playstation for winning eleven/ pes . only last year it started off on the 360 which was not even up to the mark. and there are many eager ps3 fans who are waiting for their first big killer game on their consoles . so i think it is quite natural .

i think its got more to do with the fact that sony is rumoured to have paid konami to make the ps3 version better...also the 360 version is a ps3 port so its pretty obvious the ps3 version will be better....maybe there will even be some exclusive features....u never know
