Microsoft announced on Monday that starting July 10 the company will offer free downloadable E3 content to Xbox Live Marketplace.

Microsoft bringing E3 content to Xbox Live

The announcement, dubbed E3: Bringing It Home, will serve up high-definition videos direct from the Santa Monica show floor to Xbox Live. From Tuesday July 10 to Friday July 13, Microsoft will show select segments from their E3 2007 press conference in addition to video updates throughout the week.

A selection of game trailers, themes, images, and demos of the following titles will also be shown: Ace Combat 6, Assassin's Creed, BioShock, Bue Dragon, Burnout Paradise, Call of Duty 4, FIFA Soccer 08, Guitar Hero III, Lost Odyssey, Madden NFL 08, NCAA Football 08, Need for Speed: ProStreet, Project Gotham Racing 4, The Simpsons Game, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008, and Halo 3 in addition to others. Exact release times for the Marketplace content were not specified.

Microsoft has shipped an estimated 10.4 million Xbox 360 units worldwide to date. Its Xbox Live online service boasts 6 million members.
