i have ps2 ntsc/u original titles ,the ps3 recognises them at ps2 format titles but when i play it it shows cant play due to wrong region encoding(something like that)

backups dont work ,the system sees them as data disc's

didnt try original psone game ,they are scratched and in pal so i didnt bother.

u can also switch it off thru the controller, just keep the PS icon on the controller pressed for a cpl of seconds and it will ask u if u wanna switch off the sys, press x and bingo! lights off !
same can be done to quit games also... (ie just press the PS icon on the controller), same if u wanna keep sys on but wanna switch off just the controller
