Guys got this info from Xbox 360 buyters faq (link below) so there are three version US, Asia/UK & Japan. Asia/UK is 220v and doesnot require a step down transformer..... What are the differences between US, Japanese, and Asian console? forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=313601To make it simple, some Xbox 360 games are region coded. This means you can only play US games (NTSC/UC) games on US console (NTSC/UC). Same thing applies to Japanese and Asian console (NTSC/J). Some games are region free though, which means it can be played on console from other region. Also take note that if you decided to purchase either US or Japanese console, you need to purchase a step-down transformer, because US and Japanese console are using 110V while our country are supplying 220V - 240V. Asia console don’t need it. If you do decide to get US / Japanese unit, make sure the stepdown transformer is at least 300W.

Chrono HK/China machines are not the same as the Sing/Malaysia/Thai machines.
The HK machines are the best as you can play almost every NTSC or Pal game in them. This is not the same with the other Asian machines. We have a Singaporean and a Korean console at work and some games do not work on them.
You simply cannot go wrong with a HK PS3 or 360 console.
Edit: HK uses the SAME VOLTAGE as India. The only thing that you would need to do is change the power plug as we use the 3 flat pin UK plug. This should take no more than 5 minutes to fix.
