mtnl provide the speed which they promise.......if they say u hav 256 thn u will hav 256, they r not like airtel who says it wud be between 128-256 nd u get 130.............so i think mtnl is a good option but airtel has its own advantages............

what speed do u need so that u can play in xbl REAL smooth without any "glitches".....will 128 kbps do? i don't think so.

To the above poster. You'll find some lag with 128kb/s, I'll suggest upgrading it to 256kb. Because, two of my friends have the 128kb/s connections and SVR07 and GRAW lags for them on live. I have a 256kb/s connection and it works fine for XBL.

I wish i lived South Korea...
They get FIOS, which is like 30-50 down/up (Mbps..of course) for a very affordable price
But here in the U. S. oooof A.! I have a 3Mbps down and i believe 700 up for a paltry $20 or Rs. mmmmmmmm......900?

Instead of relying on your ISP's claims, how about testing the speed for yourself using www.speedtest.net/Post here and dont forget to include ISP Name: Location: Plan/Promised Speed: Monthly Charge: Cheers

dude our internet connections seems like crap compared to what the guys in USA have
the average joe there gets 300kb/sec(thats right 300kb/sec not 300kbps) download and about the same upload speed
u get 10 mbit connections there 2 for about $60
@umang-Which company did u take ur connection from?
