The Shining is awesome... one of the best horror movies ever. Still scary after so many years!
I saw Blood Diamond yesterday and thought it was amazing. Definitely one of the best movies I've seen recently... 8/10.

Ronin had one of *the best* car chase sequences ever filmed. The rest of the movie didn't quite hold up quite well though... it's still a decent action thriller.

though this thread deals with the "favourite" movies..id like to add one of the worst ive EVER SEEN...its the movie based on the game series doom of the same name....man one of the worst ever made..EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyone watched Banlieue 13 (District B13 in English)....i was reminded by it after the Ronin post Forget the car chase in Ronin...this film has the best chase scene ever...and its on foot the dude in the scene is David Belle.....he specialises in acrobatic stuff like in that scene....let me try and dig up a youtube link of that chase here it is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2_p8JJHRTApeace |

What he does in that scene id called Parkour...it was started by David Belle
