sad we dont have one for it yet. the demo for this might be playable at GDc from march 5-9 full news. The last bit of news we had on the eagerly-awaited RPG title for the X360 Mass Effect was CEO Ray Muzyka comparing BioWare's latest video game to the TV series "24"- which we must admit doesn't really give us any updates on the game's progress. Thanks to the GDC we will have more information about this game; BioWare has confirmed that it will be showing off a demo of the RPG title at the Game Developer Conference (GDC) in San Francisco next week. As developers like to be pretty secretive, neither Microsoft nor BioWare have released any details about what the game may contain, but word around the gaming industry suggests that the game is heading for a release sooner rather than later, and therefore a fully-playable demo should be on show. Stay tuned next week as QJ.NET will have all the latest news from the GDC, including an interview with game creators Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk. www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=73580

It's about time we made a thread for this game! I'm really, I mean REALLY looking forward to this one! BioWare has never disappointed with their RPGs and this looks no different. Also, it just might be the largest game universe ever created!

The gfx looks amazing ! Even I'm looking forward to this one....and it seems like most of the dialogues, the lead says can be controlled by the player....sounds pretty cool and makes you more immersed into the game !

Yeah graphics look great. They're using a modified Unreal 3 engine for this. However the gameplay will be hardcore RPG. So if someone didn't like Oblivion, chances are they might not like this. Still I'm glad they are going for real time combat rather than turn based as in Star Wars KOTOR.

Oh please , if its another oblivion - this is off my list, I just cant spend any more time playing as an elf or some strange looking creature....btw, uninstalled oblivion yest from my PC If its an RPG, I hope atleast there's some action goin on. In oblivion, you just travel miles after miles, with nothing happening around you

@boo gtavinit ... oblivion rocked in its own niche... its just that its raining good playable games so we just dont have 200 friggin hrs to spare from our gaming lives.... on one hand we have derated GOW, lost planet and crackdown to be extremly short and at times repitetive on the other hand we derate oblivion too for being extremely huge and boring...
probably we are just too hazed by too many games being poured on us and the onus is on us to make the choice.. sadly due to this onus good games like oblivion get trashed and dont become popular, the way GOW. Can anyone guess now why games by microsoft studios are so short ...starting from HALO2 to Crackdown....

invictusoblivion is boring not becoz of its length, but becoz its BORING ! I've played GTA SA thrice, and till date have spent around 250 hours on that, still I can play it one more time and enjoy oblivion mite be a good game, the locales are good and all, but nothing ever happens in the towns ! Its like, go to a place, talk to a person, take a quest, and travel some 100 miles, complete it and repeat....and exploring sleepy towns on a slow horse, isn't my idea of fun either...! Anyway, I think we both should "agree" to "disagree" on our gaming tastes ;D ;D !

gtavint: There's a LOT of action in Oblivion if you look at the right places. Enter any Cave/Fort/Dungeon and you have tons of creatures to fight. Try shutting down Oblivion gates, more enemies to fight. Try the Fighters Guild / Mages Guild / Arena... yes you guessed it, more fighting! I don't see why you are complaining about the lack of action in Oblivion. Most RPG purists actually hate Oblivion for being so action oriented! As for Mass Effect, I think it won't lean too much towards action, but there will be a fair amount of it I guess. As far as I know there are three character classes: Soldier - which is your basic fighting class. Adept - kinda like a Mage class. Will use "force" like powers as in Star Wars. Tech/Engineer - kinda self explanatory I guess. So even if there's a lot of shooting etc. involved, don't expect it to work like GOW or Lost Planet. It will all depend on how you level up. This game is definitely gonna need patience. If you have an itchy trigger finger you might want to pick up John Woo's Stranglehold or The Darkness instead...

DeadRising - hardly touched crackdown - lot to complete GoW - need to complete act 3,4,5 on hardcore TT - not finished pro circuit yet I was going well with crackdown, when I was distracted by halo 1 for PC, so now that I've finished Halo, back to completing all the above, not sure how long will they take !!
