somehow i get the feeling this game might get a tad repetitive, its also seems inspired by the crash mode of burout.
the gfx also arent great check out the rear tyres of the truck.

have any of yall played the original stuntman game.....i had a ball playing it on my ps2....dunno if i'm gonna buy this but it def wont be a burnout clone....burnout is sensless crashing to create maximum damage....in stuntman u have several objectives, each requiring decent driving skills and good timing

i read somewhere that it was one heck of a difficult game how challenging was it?

gets pretty hard as u progress....there are like 20-30 objectives in a stunt....like driving under a ladder thats leaning agsint a wall....making another car fishtail....doing a corkscrew....all this in one stunt.....if u miss a single objective, u fail the stunt....and there's a time limit

IGN previews Stuntman 2. Here are some of the highlights (Note: this peview is of the PS2 version) THQ isn't looking to reinvent Stuntman entirely, but it is apparent that the company has listened, and listened well, to the criticisms leveled at the first game. The result is a game that has the same general feel of the original Stuntman but comes with a slightly more friendly style of gameplay.
This go around, players are allowed five mistakes before the director calls a close to the action. Making a flawless run may just be as difficult as the last Stuntman, but you won't immediately be cut out of the action for a single fault. Instead, you'll just get a lower rating at the end and less of a bonus.
The graphics in Stuntman are looking good at this early stage. In keeping with the film motif, there is a ton going on both directly in front of you as you're driving as well as in the scene around you. Explosions, other cars crashing, scattering people, and bits of airborne environment never stop coming. We did notice a few minor clipping issues, particularly when big jumps were landed; a problem that will likely be cleared up long before release.
So far, Stuntman: Ignition is looking like a nice revision of the initial concept that is both an expansion of the original idea and a more friendly and inviting experience. If we were to draw any issue with what we saw, it would be with the similar feeling each car had. A greater differentiation in handling between a sports car and a 4x4 seems a bit necessary. Still, the game feels like it is on the right course, even if that course involves a few ramps and exploding cars.ps2.ign.com/articles/769/769621p1.htmlpeace

a more expansive preview is up on IGN last paragraph: Stuntman: Ignition seems like a really fun game at this point. To be honest, we weren't sure what to make of it our first couple runs, but after we kept trying again and again and again to perfect our takes, we can now certainly see where the appeal is. Look for its release towards the end of summer.xbox360.ign.com/articles/773/773201p2.htmlpeace
