lol what kind of demo is this?
"The demo is timed and ends before either you win or lose, leaving one with a very unsatisfied feeling. At least this gamer felt mixed about it. On the one hand I was glad to play because I didn't get to play it at EA's recent gamer day. On the other hand, the inability to complete a fight is worse than tying in a sports match; it's like kissing your ugly cousin. Sure, the notion is designed to make you want more, which is does, but it's also just plain mean/lame/aggravating. Download it and check it out. At least you will get used to the controls and have some fun in the mean time."

review out 7.0 giving it a miss 7.0 Presentation The menu screens, particularly the ones in Build-A-Label mode, are good as far as providing information, but aren't particularly flashy or striking. 8.0 Graphics Character models are beautifully rendered. It's too bad that the oversaturated color treatments and various character model hiccups hamper the visuals. 9.0 Sound From the sound effects and voiceover work to the uncensored tracks, Def Jam's sound is excellent. 6.5 Gameplay The slightly improved speed of battle is still somewhat tripped up by the various plot issues, limited battle system and inconsistent features. 7.0 Lasting Appeal The My Soundtrack feature provides a degree of replayability that extends the lackluster gameplay somewhat, although with limited extras, you'll probably move on after a playthrough or two. xbox360.ign.com/articles/770/770966p1.html

Yeah I downloaded the demo. Its like you have to punch according to the beats! Lol ur punches do extra damage and stuff. @gtavineet , Yeh there is a free roam mode and a proper storyline too.(Or something like that)

No free roaming in Def Jam games yet; there is a deeper storyline and a lot more emphasis on the whole hip-hopc industry (hence the name).
