Bad: 1. PS3 again put up with a disappoining line up. Except for MGS 4 and killzone 2 no other PS3 excl game looks interesting. 2. Halo 3 trailer was not that good. The gfx doesnt seem next-gen at all. 3. PSP again has no good game lineup. 4. Nintendo continues with its kiddish game sequels to mario and its clones, and wii looks really stale now. 5. Peter moore came across more like a game salesman rather than a presenter ! 6. GeOW has extra content on windows ! 7. No info on eight days, Alan wake ! Good; 1. MS game line up for the year really rocks. 2. UT 3 and crysis coming on consoles. Conclusion: MS is the clear winner with a ton of games lined up for the holiday season. X360 is the clear choice for the year 2007.

UT 3 for PS3 was the biggest announcement for me. Not just because its exclusive to PS3 this year, but the effect it'll have on PSN. UT 3 is mainly a multiplayer game, and to give that seamless experience to players, Sony will have to do some major overhaul to their online service, just to bring it on par to the demands of UT 3's multiplayer. PSN right now, compared to Live, simply sucks.

Ok regarding the sony show. For starters it had humor rather than arrogance, the dig at kaz about riiiiíiidge racer shows that, jack tretton made digs at himself, baldie was serious tho. I like the approach to the psn store, instead of churning out 8 bit 16 bit games, the content was truly original, with a more steam like approach. Psp redesign was good, problem with psp is not lack of good games but the lack of original and unique ones.echochrome was splendid and such games shd help. Haze announcement didnt come as a surprise, unreals a little bit,the engine optimization is very good move, and the results are showing the ps3 version of ut3 is said to be identical to the pc version, which is very good, they show the pc version on the best available hardware.also you need to see if epic takes full adventage of the cell.over 100 games are using unreal engine so this move will certainly help third parties.best thing to happen to sony is their worldwide studio, under this all sony 1st and 2nd parties share technologies between themselves ,eg see in the gt5 trailer the london shot is 99% using assets from the getaway series.insomniac and naughty dog share upto the point that both their lead heroes have the same first name nathan hale/drake.other important thing being despite showing so many first party game, half of the titles havent even been showed yet. Also this show of great looking games have 3rd party publishers take notice.ea said madden08 will run at 30fps on ps3 compared to 60 on the 360,this was even confirmed by moore in the ms pc.ea later just did a backflip and said ps3 ver will run on 60fps and next year onwards ps3 will be the lead platform, similar with dirt, codies said ps3 will run at 60fps compared to 360's 30.

No killer Ps3 title this year to compete with Halo 3 & Mass Effect MS is taking its position for granted Sony giving a KLPD to its customers by giving them a price cut to clear stock GT 5 is breathtaking .. kicks Forzas ass No 8 days No Alan Wake

The good: Wii Fit is genius and will sell....fat Amercians will lap it up...Japs too (these are people who exercise at work) Killzone 2 looking very good GT5 Prologue coming this year...biggest news for me Mass Effect finally gets a date...i'm not interested but it was being bullied around by Halo 3 and I'm glad MS grew some balls and finally announced a date Assassin's Creed this year....who would've thunk it Little Big Planet looking better and better Sony's 1st party had an impressive showing Sony working with Epic was known but comfirmation at E3 is great news and promises a lot Uncharted again was top notch
The bad: MS being complacent, no major announcement, 2008 lineup is non-existent showing their short-sightedness No Eight Days, God of War 3 news Nintendo giving more emphasis to gimmicky accessories than games I was never impressed by Home and Sony showed nothing at E3 to change that Where's Alan Wake?
Conclusion: Nintendo took the honours, only just....Sony and MS switched places from E3 2006 Sony surprised, MS fell flat on its face 2007 is a lost cause for Sony (till the holidays atleast), but they've really strengthened their position going into 2008 Besides Wii Fit, Nintndo seems to be running out of ideas No real big surprises
Prediction for 2008: Sony will take over from MS Nintendo will still stay ahead but will lose momentum
peace

PSN right now, compared to Live, simply sucks. But dont forget, Epic have announced that Unreal Engine 3 will have the Games for Windows Live code integrated within the engine itself which should make future games built on Unreal Engine 3 have seamless integration with Live. Considering that GFW Live is basically Xbox Live for Windows Vista, it should allow better Xbox Live integration for future 360 games built on Unreal Engine 3.

Well good for Xbox Live. I'm just pointing out that PS3 needs such multiplayer-heavy games to improve upon their online service. Its free I know, but thats not an excuse for being crappy. The first Halo had a big hand in developing Live and I'm hoping UT3 does same for PSN.
