Heres what I saw behind a call centre cab in Bandra today. I guess gaming in India is really catching on. PS - Excuse the poor picture quality, my car has some pretty dark tints.

well growth of gaming is there but of which medium is a little hard to find out, in our country most of the gaming buffs r dependent on their folks for the money, so they don't have the luxary to own hd gaming consoles, they either play games on pc or own cheap consoles, and guys this thing promotes piracy as many people find it hard to convince their parents abt buying a 25000 console and shelling 2500 on every new game. our dependence on our parents is the main hurdle for the growth of gaming in our country. peace

This Should help: ;D Indiagames-Microsoft Alliance To Boom Online Gaming In India India's online and mobile games company, Indiagames Ltd., has partnered with Microsoft Entertainment And Devices Division, for its next generation gaming and digital entertainment system, Xbox 360. The collaboration with Microsoft will entail a host of co-branded gaming tournaments as well as building gaming communities across India. With this partnership, Xbox 360 and other Microsoft peripherals will be the first set of products that will be sold through Indiagames' new virtual shopping portal- IGShop. Indiagames will now offer Xbox 360 along with the latest range of Microsoft peripheral devices, including keyboards, mice, game pads, steering wheels, joysticks and web cameras at a special price to its online 'Games-on-Demand' subscribers. Commenting on this partnership, Mohit Anand, country manager, entertainment and devices division, Microsoft India said, "We expect this partnership to fuel the gaming boom in India by bringing to gamers, the best-of gaming content as well as attractive price points to get hold of their very own Xbox 360 console." "We are very pleased to begin IGShop with Microsoft products. We will soon add more products to IGShop, giving gamers a single platform to source world class products," adds Vishal Gondal, CEO, Indiagames. www.efytimes.com/efytimes/fullnews.asp?edid=19467&magid=11
