NEW DELHI: Microsoft Game Studios on Wednesday launched the upgraded version of its motor sport game — Forza Motorsport 2. The company plans to bring upgraded versions of its various games in India soon.
Priced at Rs. 1,895, the new game has been targeted at motor-sport lovers.
"The launch of Forza 2 marks a new price point that Microsoft has introduced in the Indian market. We were earlier selling our titles for Rs. 2,599 and the upgraded version has been brought at a lower price tag,'' Microsoft's Country Manager (Entertainment and Devices Division) Mohit Anand said at a press conference here.
According to Mr. Anand, the company has spent nearly $40 million and two-years in upgrading the title for gamers globally. "We are planning to bring a top-end variant of our high-definition gaming console, X-Box Elite, in the Indian market by August,'' he added. Microsoft is also looking at bringing online gaming through XBox live.
