In case this is true...then our happily gaming days are numbered... after some time, dealers will lose interest.... u would find lesser floor space for 360 and suddenly one day poof!.. metros might not be badly struck but the rest will definitely..

LOL That's hilarious. This explains why MS is not interested in the Indian market. I have spoken with several MS people and when I mention India & lack of games they laugh. Those figures are sold in HK in 3-4 hours. of 360...maybe 720 lol<< Yeah perhaps the 420

playstation brandname is a much bigger one than the xbox ,if they can sell it at a reasonable price, there is no reason why it wont sell

but i still feel that playstation was not as popular in india as it could have been....probably its just the nonchalant attitude the sony has....Non existent ads, Overly priced games(close to 2999 ) for instance its just from last month i saw PS2 cutouts in SonyWorld and ads about some discounts on the games by SCEA... Another thing is the major gaming regions think that the prices quoted for ps3 are downright unreasonable.... I see no reason why they would come here offically and quote a reasonable price. Moreover lets not deny the fact that it was the grey market and readily available pirated games that made playstation 2 popular in INDIA..

sony has said that the ps3 in india will be a niche product....there will be nothing reasonable about it peace Bingo!! Thats what sony's attitude in INDIA is. These signs should show us that PS3 would be out of reach for many of us.... atleast me..
