for about 5$$ playing some classics is not bad at all,that too in a portable

Wow.. I'm getting my PS3 this Friday so I must check this out. Can these games be played on the PS3 as well?
I am curious to see what the Sony network is like as no one seems to have any thorough reviews on it.

i think sony mentioned that psx emulation is currently for the psp and mid-2007 for ps3.

The first batch of original PlayStation games will go on sale for between US $5.99 and US $10.99. Weighing in at between 140MB and 550MB, they must be downloaded to a PS3 hard drive and can then be transferred to Memory Stick Duo.
SCEA has yet to confirm which games will hit the store first. However, ten games - including Resident Evil: Director's Cut, Tekken 2 and Arc the Lad - are due to go on sale through Sony Japan's online store today.V

The first North American PSone titles have hit the PlayStation Store, which you can now play on your PSP. As you can see in the above pic, Tekken 2, Crash Bandicoot, Coolboarders, Hot Shots Golf 2 and Syphon Filter are the first available titles.V
